Goodreads

Hey people! I know you're all probably super busy, it being the end of the year and all, but I wanted to tell you all about this amazing website (if you've never hear of it) and if you have an account you can add me here.

If you don't have a Goodreads account and you love finding new books, this site is the place to go! I highly recommend it:) I'm fairly certain that you won't regret it.

I've found so many amazing books that I have loved and that my family has enjoyed.

I'm fixing up a list of the books I want to read next year, and I'm going to have a goal of how many books at the least amount I think I'm going to have time for. And if I go over that's just a bonus for me xD

Well, I won't keep you any longer:)

I hope you guys have an amazing last couple days of 2013!

Maddie

Writing Majestically

Hello one and all:) after coming home with a broken and dumbstruck heart from The Hobbit part 2, I remembered that I had at one time pinned a how-to-write-in-elvish graph. Yesterday I looked it up and also found out how to write Dwarvish runes! So I've been spending a lot of time learning how to write majestically:)
There are three different forms I've been studying of Middle Earthian languages. I can't remember the proper titles, but they are in the photo below:
And here is another form of elvish:

Dwarvish!!! I think that it's probably favorite:)
And then there's how to make your writing look elvish which I'm really bad at... But I'm practicing.
See? It's not that different from our cursive alphabet! I'm also trying to learn the Hobbits alphabet because I love them and would love to write like that :)

^ I love that:) Dwarvish is cool:)

^ translation: I Am Durin

^i scribbled in my school books... Haha x)

^and this mess was my first attempt at elvish lettering with a Calligraphy pen.

Eventually I want to learn to speak Elvish and Dwarf just for the fun of it!!!

Well, I have to go but I hope this post amused you:)

Love,
Maddie

Far over the Misty Mountains cold... Through dungeons deep and caverns old... If it's to end in fire... Let us all burn together...

I have been waiting so long for today. Like, you have no idea.

This time last year, I was eagerly awaiting the release of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Adventure
When I got to watch it, a whole new world was opened up to me. Yeah, I read the book. But I didn't open up to it until I heard they were making the first Hobbit movie. Then I read the book again, had a LOTR marathon with my family and waited. I was so pumped to see the first movie. I was smiling so hard when I walked into the theater, my face ached the rest of that afternoon. Throughout the movie I sat on the edge of my seat, heart pounding and mind racing.

Today, when I walked into the theater to watch The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug, much of the same thing happened. But this time it was more serious. It was darker. I almost cried - and did cry - through all/part of it. It was really good. It was more than I had expected. It was better than I expected. I was extremely happy with it:) It's not really "close" to the actual book, but I knew that because it's and adaption that it would be that way.

THE HOBBIT Smaug and Bilbo by *yinyumingI think they did a phenomenal job on Smaug. He's everything I imagined and more.
He is:
Mischievous.
Tyrannical.
Mad.
Gigantic.
Maniacal.
Arrogant.
Wicked.
Stunning.
Freakishly intelligent.
Terrifying.
His voice made the air vibrate.
He has an evil sort of humor.
Over all, for a reallyyyyyy bad dragon, he's one of my favorite characters.
I mean, who doesn't love the perfect villain?

Ah, now we get too the line of Durin.
Thorin wasn't as grumpy in this movie compared to the last movie; at least in my opinion. He is so hurt. I want to give him a hug. In the end of the movie, Thorin was so close to his home, his reaction and emotions broke my heart. Then it's like all of his anger came back.
Fili really didn't have much of a part, I mean, there was one part when he argues with his uncle and sticks up for his little brother but that's the jist of it. I've actually nicknamed him "Lion Boy" because of his strength and because he really makes me think of a lion.
Kili had a bigger part, and, I almost died. Kili is adorable. And He find himself falling for a she-elf. He knew that to love her was impossible, but he did. And he had a hard time leaving her. I wish Thorin hadn't taught the boys that Elves were bad. I wish Thorin wasn't so hateful toward them. Because Kili was taught to hate them, he was feeling torn. And Thorin would have throw Kili out of a window if he found out. But yes Kili is awesome and I am going to cry so hard when they die. I'm waiting in both excitement and dread.

This movie is epic, the characters are amazing, the scenes are breathtaking and my poor fangirl heart is peaceful. I'm going to cry about my dwarves dying. I mean, I don't want to say goodbye. But other than my personal feeling and heartbreak, I LOVE Desolation of Smaug and you all really need to watch it!!!

Love,
Your blogger,
Maddie

P.S. About The Title: The first lines of the two most amazing songs ever:) Misty Mountains, from the 1st Hobbit movie, and I See Fire by Ed Sheeran which is the song at the beginning of the credits of DOS. It gives me goose bumps:) You should all listen to it!

Her Universe

So, a while back I discovered one of the most awesome clothing websites EVER.

How many of you know who Ahsoka Tano is? Well this clothing line is run by Ashley Eckstein, the lady who voices Ahsoka. She grew up as a fangirl and noticed how many girls were just like her. She noticed how companies only made fan apparel for men and boys. Girls didn't have the option of being the fans that they wanted to be. That's when she decided to open up a store for fangirls all over the world.

You should really check it out.
I am currently in love with the Hope Lounge Hoodie. It's just so adorable!!!
This store sells adorable clothing... Just adorable:)

It's a great site for fans of Star Wars, Star Trek and Doctor Who.

I haven't gotten anything from the site - yet - but I've heard that the clothing is all really good quality:)
I'm hoping to get some cloths from there soon though, as soon as I make some money!

So yeah, check it out :)

Maybe I'll talk myself into writing an actually entertaining post later x)

Bye guys:)

Happy Thanksgiving :)

Hello lovelies:)

I hope that your day is amazing and that you have an amazing time with your friends, family and food! I am blessed beyond what I deserve to have been able to connect with you guys. I consider you all friends and I hope that we may someday meet!

I'm going to provide a short list of things I am extremely thankful for<3

1) The overwhelmingly Awesome God I have. Without him I would be nothing.
2) My amazing, slightly overprotective parents:) I honestly don't know what I would be if they weren't there to keep me safe every step of the way.
3) My crazy yet adorable siblings:) Who would I be if I couldn't be the big sister to these amazing kids?
4) All of my good friends who are like family to me. They are so encouraging, so sweet and so loving. Again, who would I be without them? They've all seen my faults, but they still love me and love me even more. That is such a blessing to me.
5) My home.
6) My privilege to be a Fire Explorer. It's so much fun and its really cool to be able to be a part of the community! Fire Fighters are some of my favorite "cape-less hero's." They risk their lives to protect others regularly. I'm very thankful for that and I'm blessed to be able to be around these people and I'm happy to be considered their friend.
7) I am thankful for the other teenagers who are in the Explorer group. I've been able to 'make friends' and my brother and I have met these two other home schooled kids who aren't Christian, but they're tons of fun:)
8) Of course you guys!!!
9) That God gave me the ability to write my book. I didn't know that I could do what I have been doing.
10) I'm thankful for the encouragement that people have extended to me concerning my writing:)
11) I'm thankful that God made me my own unique person, and for the talents he's given me:)
12) Finally, I'm thankful for thankfulness.

Okay! There you have it! Blessings to you all on this and every day!!!

Your friend,
Maddie

P.S. Does anyone have the real link for downloading Gimp, the photo editor? Would you please leave it in a comment? Thanks:)

help needed

Hey guys:)

So, I've been writing this book, see (of course you know about it. ;] )... And I got this BRILLIANT (maybe) idea; Because my book is kind of "Medieval" in a very fantasy way, I thought it would be sort of fun to throw in some legendary characters. Like, maybe King Arthur and Merlin? Robbin (Hood) of Locksley? Possibly Maid Marian and Little John?
My book is total fantasy. Supposedly a long forgotten land...? But I want my characters to have the same legendary 'hero" feel as the tales people love and adore.
I guess my point of this post is-
1.) Do you like the idea of adding other well known "people" (please be honest. I want to know how this would come across to other persons of the writerly league.)?
And 2.) Do you know of other medieval characters from fairy tales that you would like to see in my book or more well known if my book -perhaps- gets published?
Leave me a comment because I would really appreciate some feedback.

Thank you for all your lovely comments the other day!!! I've missed you guys (I know I keep saying that, but its true.)

Love,
Maddie

WAIT! Don't kill me yet!!

Okay, please I beg that you hear me out before you come at me with swords drawn, lightsabers ignited, bows held at the ready etc.
My life has been crazily wild and what little free time I've had I've either been reading or writing. But I'm really sorry that I haven't posted in like a month. I don't really have any excuses that would cover that.

I have decided that November is both the most terrifying and most wonderful time of the year. And no, I don't mean just because it's cold weather and that I'll get to stuff myself on fabulous foods during Thanksgiving.
I'm talking about... *cue long, tense music for suspense* National Novel Writing Month. *GASPS OF HORROR*
I've never participated in the challenge before. But I decided to take it up this year.
You all know about my book Twelve Blades Of War. I'm happy to report that it has grown to the surprising amount of 11625 words. I've never been a very motivate writer. It's like, "okay. Story idea. Lets see how much I can do before I'm bored with it." up until now. I've always wanted to be a big writer, but I was bored with my stories before I got the first chapter down. Yeah, I know. It's very sad. So many ideas have died. *cries as I walk through the graveyard of buried hopes*
So this is really a huge thing and a great motivation for me. I'm actually writing a novel! That thought alone has been stunning. It's been on my bucket list to write a book before I turned 16. I am actually doing this. AHHHHH!!!!!!

But yes. Other than making my brain shriek of overuse and trying to get ideas from reading, and of course school, I have no excuse for completely abandoning you guys.
Strike me down if you may, but I'm asking for your forgiveness. It up to you to steady your hand or let all of your dissapiontment loose.

Haha, I love you guys:)

where have i been?!

my, my, my... i'm sorry i haven't been on!
my life has been crazy. hectic. busy. exhausting. you get the picture.
what have i been doing? well;

2) fire explorers. yes! my brother and i are having sooo much fun! i'm promising a post about that subject soon:) i don't know who's more excited that we joined; my dad or myself and brother. i think it's my dad.
3) my sister and i bought a laptop. haha its so nice! my mom rarely gt to use her computer before xP but that's what happens when you have 2 kids that love writing.
4) reading one of the coolest books in the world. The False Prince by Jennifer A. Nielson. go and read it! its perfect! and i went ballistic when i heard there was a sequel! The Runaway King. i put it on hold at the library as soon as i could ;) it's in right now, but i have to wait until Monday to read it. sad face.
5) obsessing over The Call sung by Regina Spektor (it's off of Prince Caspian. if you don't remember it, i recommend looking it up on youtube. its gorgeous.). okay, how about obsessing over Regina Spektor in gereral. i love her style of music!
6) freaking out about The Silver Chair. I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY ARE ACTUALLY MAKING IT!!!!
7) wanting the Chronicles of Narnia movie's soundtrack's. as soon as I have enough, i'm going to buy them i just love them:) and it helps me think when i'm listening to stuff. you would think that it would distract you, but no. it helps a lot.
8) missing you guys! i haven't been commenting or anything:( i feel bad.
9) watching Agents of SHIELD. call me a geek, i love it;D
10) having a Lord Of The Rings marathon with my brother. he asked me if i wanted to watch it with him:) when he's not being annoying, i love him to death.

so, that/s what i've been doing. how about you guys?
tootles!

"I Hate My Guts." -A Writers Tale

Yup.
I hate my guts.
It's one of those days when I'm asking myself. "WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS??????"
I feel horrible for doing what I'm doing, and I've cried over the pain I'm making my characters suffer. But I can't not do it. Its what makes my characters strong.
"Ugh! How can I?!"
But I have to.
I can hear the characters screaming at me for doing this, but I hush them and go right back to it.
"Sorry guys."
But then the bad guy comes along and is like, "Good job. Make 'em suffer. All the better for me."
"Um, hello, this is where he/she/they get(s) the power to defeat you. Duh."
Whatever.
People call me sweet and kind, but then I go and blow people up and make plans to take over the world.
Huh.
But other than that I'm happy to say that I'm still plowing away at my manuscripts, "12 Blades Of War" and "Spies, Lies and Enemies."
I've actually created a plot I'm happy with for the spy book! Whoo hoo! Now I get to move on to the fun part;)
I think it's actually helping me to be working full time on two books instead of just one, because both are different and IF I have *gasp* writers block, I have something else to work on other than sitting around stressing about being stuck.
Haha... So, I feel better now... To me, writing is a LOVE/HATE relationship. I love writing, but hate knowing what I have to do. I'm seriously controlling thousands of people.

How do you guys deal with writing???
Ever yours,
Maddie

Camping and Shooting

Hi!!!
Yes, I am still very much alive and well:)
Where have I been? I've been at home.
What have I been doing? Celebrating the Biblical holiday of Sukkot. Or, The Feast Of Tabernacles. I highly encourage you to either ask me about it and/or research it:) It's so fun and it's amazing:)
I got to hang out with lots of people I love to death and I learned to love a new person.

So yeah... I've had a very busy week/9 days. But I've learned a lot of things that I really needed. AND I got you guys a couple pictures! Whoo hoo!

Okay. So, this handsome fella is Peter. My cousin Mackenzie's boyfriend. He loves Duck Dynasty, hunting fishing, everything camo, Seattle SeaHawks, guns, bows and arrows and Kenzie. This is the person I learned to love. At first, Pete was really shy. And hes a really quiet person. But during the end of the week he opened up and I got to meet the sweetest, funniest and coolest guy in the world. Yep. I'm really hoping for a wedding in the near future<3 he's seriously going to be the coolest cousin in the world.

Now, Mackenzie was recently in a difficult relationship and she came away heartbroken. Now that Peter has been in her life, she's back to normal and sooooo happy<3<3<3<3 AHH! I love them!!!

I've actually know Peter for a while. i was friends with his sister Naomi, who's my age. But I never really talked to him... But he was one of the "big boys," so the thought never really came to me.

And Pete was in the Navy for a few years. And my dad and him get along REALLY well. It's funny how easily they get along x)

So, Peter has a ton of super expensive things. Huge truck, big guns, super expencive bow... And an AR-15. Which I got to shoot. He left it at my house for my dad to shoot, so after he left my dad was telling me how nice it shot and I was sad that I missed that. Because I've always wanted to shoot an AR.
So my dad got it out and let me shoot it a few times! Awesome!!! :P
My dad took pictures of me shooting it, because he didn't think I would EVER. What?! Dad, you know I love shooting guns!!! And let me tell you, the AR-15 shot really awesome. I want to shoot it again.

This picture makes it look like I've never shot a gun before. I have the stock to high on my shoulder, and because I was aiming for a soda bottle in the yard, it killed my arm! But I'd shoot it again in a heart beat:D

Yep, I got pics of my bro and dad too;)

Peter and Kenz<3

Okay, I've gotta run. But I missed y'all and I hope you've enjoyed this post!!!

Lots of love.

writing and covers.

so most, if not all, of you know that I am writing a book. okay, more than one book. but this one book in particular. the first book in the 12 Blades series. you can see the storyboard i made on pinterest.
today i decided to think of a cover photo. i narrowed it down to these five;

via my pinterest

Which one do you guys like best?

I did make a cover just cause I love this pic and I was bored;

Yep. I just think that's an awesome picture. So, you can read part of my book if you go to my last blog post. I did post it the same day as my second to last, so it might have gotten passed over. But no worries! =)

Yep. I'm pretty proud of what I have so far. It's written in a style I'd never thought of using before, but I really like it. I think it's my favorite style to write in, actually.

So, tell me whatcha think and i promise I'll be back with a more interesting post ;)

Yours,
Maddie

*part of my book* 12 Blades of War

“You must let me fight!” She raged.
“No. I will not allow it.” William dismissed her with a gesture.
Gwen didn’t move. She stood there, her balled fists hanging at her side. Her eyes burned, her raven hair cascading down her back.
“Why?” she sputtered.
“Why? You are a girl! Not meant to fight! You barely know how to use a sword and it would take years to teach you properly.”
“So I’m supposed to sit in the castle listening to the cries of the courtiers wives as they bid their husbands and sons farewell? Am I supposed to cook and knit while there are men dying?” She crossed her arms.
“Yes.”
“Preposterous!” She exclaimed. “I have just as much right to defend my home as any man. It is my country too. It doesn’t belong only to the men at arms. The other three kingdoms allow their women to fight. Why not here in Valdiel?”
“You can’t fight because no Valian women have ever done so before.”
“William, I’m better with a bow and arrow than even you. I know how to use a sword because you taught me! And why am I not allowed because other women in past times didn’t have the skill?”
“It’s not that they didn’t have skill. They didn’t need to fight. If you go, you will go up against seasoned warriors and you are naught but a beginner.” He shook his head.
“Then teach me, brother. We need as many fighters as are willing to protect the land they love! Let me fight among them. I can hold my own!”
“No.” He scowled at her.
Her face turned white with fury. She opened her mouth to say something, but thought better and shut it.
She stood up as tall as she could and looked up at him, the anger in her green eyes replaced by determination.
“Very well, then.” And turning on her heal, Gwen walked doggedly out of the room.
William’s eyes followed her out, then looked back to the battle plans he was given by the King.
“That girl,” he said to himself, “Could end the war before it happened, if she was given the chance.”
No matter how hard William tried to forget the matter, it kept coming back to mind. He slowly started to realize the truth and wisdom in what his sister had said. He then started to wonder if he should relay the information to the elders, to see if they thought the same.
Maybe this is the chance she has!  He realized. I will bring this matter before the king and his advisors. Gwen, you might have saved us all.

Walking into the hall, Gwen didn’t notice the person leaning against the wall until he called her.
“Lady Gwen!” the silver haired warrior ran to her.
“Bayder! I’m so sorry, I didn’t see you.” she stopped.
“It’s fine Lady. I only meant to ask how your discussion went.”
“Please, just call me Gwen for I am no lady.”
“But you are a lady! Any woman willing to fight an army for her homeland is nobler than if you were born into royalty.” He looked down at her.
“Thank you, Bayder. I needed that.” She looked up and smiled at him, then frowned slightly. “You asked how my debate with my brother went. It went badly. I will not be allowed to fight. Nor any women willing to take up arms.”
“Might I ask why?”
“It would wound the pride of the men, I fear. No women in Valian history have ever fought because they never had too. But this is different. We, the four kingdoms united, are still too few in number to match the rebellion. The idea that we need women to fight bruises the pride and moral of the men at arms.”
“What a sad turn of events!” Bayder exclaimed. Then he clapped his hands. “Unless!” he laughed, “unless you can make the men see that it doesn’t say they are weak and that it might add the extra boost we need to end all this!”
Gwen wrapped her arms around her friend in a massive hug.
“Bayder! You are a genius! Come, I have an idea.” She released him and started running.
“Where are we going?” he asked her, chasing after her.
“The training field!” She yelled, looking behind at him, grinning broadly.

Getting to the officers’ quarters outside the training barracks, Gwen stopped and requested that she see the Battle master.
“I’m sorry miss,” Said the guard at the door, “The battle master is in the middle of a very important meeting and will be seeing no one. I could, however, give him a message if you’d like.”
“Thank you so much! Yes, tell him that Gwen requested to see him. Please inform him that Bayder and I will be at the archery range and if we are already gone we upon his going, that we will talk with him at supper.”
“Yes miss.” He bowed his head. “Sir.”
Gwen curtsied and turned to leave, when she had thought of another thing.
“Sir guard? Do you think we would be allowed to borrow a few bow and arrows for practicing? And possibly two swords as well?”
The man looked surprised. “I don’t see why not. Only, the guard on duty at the armory might question your ability to use them, as you are a lady.”
“I can use them well enough.” She assured him. “And if he questions me, I will ask him to face me as his opponent. Being a lady is merely a disguise to my ability.”
“I believe you miss. You seem like you could face quite a bit of danger without consequence.”
“She could, take my word for it! I was privileged to see her in action once or twice myself.” Bayder laughed, patting Gwen’s shoulder. “She beat me in a fair fight and I’m not ashamed to tell the world.”

When they reached the armory Gwen made her request for the weapons.
The two men on guard laughed at her and told her to run along.
“But you don’t understand! I know how to use them. I want to go and practice so I don’t go soft. Please, give them to us and let us go.”
“You know how to use them do you? Highly unlikely.” one man jeered. “Go home you little scullery maid. Leave us to our work.”
“Scullery maid?!” Gwen croaked.
“Scullery maid. Now be off with ye!” the other guard said with a dismissive gesture.
“Gentlemen!” Bayder cried, ”Do you have any idea of whom you’re talking to?”
The men looked at each other.
He crossed his arms. “This is Lady Gwen, who is sister to the knight, Sir William Greenfall, who is best friend to the royal family. You have been honored with the company of a personage higher than yourselves and yet you have the gall to insult her? Do you know what I could have done to you for this?”
Both guards blanched and ducked their heads. It was silent in the yard, all eyes watching them curiously.
“Well? I’m waiting.” Bayder said darkly.
“Well sir-“one started, his voice faltering.
“We-We didn’t know, sir, honest we didn’t. We just thought-“ The other guard tried to finish for his friend, but was interrupted by Bayders yell.
“You really thought she was a kitchen maid? Does she look anything like one? Is she wearing the royal staff uniform? How you could mistake Lady Gwen for a maid is beyond me.”
The men kept their heads down.
“And to think that warriors in the Kings army have reduced to bullying the people weaker than them, it’s shocking!”
“We are sorry sir.” One mumbled.
"I should hope so." a voice boomed behind them. Gwen and Bayder whirled around.

I'm pretty sure I broke my face.

Yesterday, while we were up at my aunts house with our Bible Study group, my cousins Perry and Katie stood up.

"As many of you know, Katie and I have been looking for a house. Well, we bought one and we get to move in October." Perry announced.
People clapped and said things like, "Good for you!", "Congradulations!" and "How exciting!."
I was pretty happy because they finally have their first home.

Then he kinda blurted out,"And we are expecting in April."

Divergent

Well, I got Divergent from the library and read it today.
And you know something? I'll never think the same of chocolate cake again. Or the number 4. Or the colors grey and black. Or jumping. Or guns. Or needles.
Lol, i could keep going on and on if i wanted too xD
In other words; I really liked it. Veronica Roth did a really good job.
There was a little to much using the Lords name in vain and kissing/mushy stuff for my taste, but that aside it is one of  the best books I've ever read. Like, ever.
I can't even explain how i feel about the book.

Tris was awesome. Tobias was perfect. Will was adorable and I'm REALLY not happy that he died.
I cried over Al. Christina wasn't my favorite but she was okay.
Uriah was hilarious (I laughed so hard at the zipline part xD)!!! Caleb was pretty cool. I wanted to choke Eric. And then Tori. Ah. Now that's a character i really enjoyed. She seems so strong.
Also, I really loved Tris's Mom. That is the kind of character you mourn for, but you know that she died bravely and then you're not so sad. It makes you look up to her.

I can't wait to read the next book. Which I still am waiting for to come in on hold.

Well, I def' think this is an older read, maybe 13+ just because of how much kissing and other content was in it. But i really enjoyed the adventure.

"That's my girl! Tough as cotton balls." ~Will
"I might go, if there was cake." ~Four
"I am Brave." ~Tris
Okay! Latter gators!

Tag! I'm it!

i've been tagged by the incredible Anna of Hero! thanks so much Anna! let us continue with our adventure...

1) If the main villain of your favorite book/movie/tv series showed up at your doorstep, what would you do? (Explain who it is first)

Okay. SO my brother and I have been watching the BBC Sherlock series and it's pretty awesome in our opinion. I guess that means Jim Moriarty is coming to my house... Do I really have to explain how much of a snake this character is? Isn't his reputation of being the worlds only "Consulting Criminal" famous?

There's a knock at the door.
"I'll get it!"
I yell over the screaming kids and barking dogs.
I race my brother to the door and pull it open, and stepping back in shock.
"You!" I growl.
He smiles and puts out his hand. "Hello. I've heard so much about you."  his deep voice gave me the chills.
I bat his hand away and slam the door shut. I race to the phone and call John, begging him to come. Sherlock overhears the call and deducts that it is Moriarty's plan to have him come.

2) Now suppose the heroes opposite your villain showed up just after your exchange, what would you do?

YES! *fist pump* I've been wanting to meet John and Sherlock!

John runs to the back door and I let him in.
"Thank goodness you're here! Where's Sherlock?"
John rolls his eyes. "He wanted to meet Moriarty at the front and distract him."
"That leave us to catch him? Nice. Come on, lets go."
I peaked through the window by the door. Sherlock and Moriarty were face to face, studying each other.
"Jim." Sherlock says, offering his hand.
"Sherlock." Moriarty, shakes it. "I knew you would show up. Where's your doctor friend? I was sure you would bring him along."
John steps out the front door, aiming his gun at his head.

3) So... moving on, the heroes defeat the villain (with some help from you, of course-- whatever it may be ;) But the next day, you're just walking along, minding your own business, when you suddenly come across the same villain... who is now lying in the dust severely wounded and unconscious. What do you do?

Huh... I wonder how Moriarty, of all people, let someone get close enough to hurt him. Interesting....... ;)

Frankly, I'd drag him back to my house, call Detective Inspector Lestrade, Sherlock and Watson, clean up his wounds. When they all got here, I'd ask them to call 911 and lock Moriarty up... That dude just gives me the creeps. *shudders*
4) Now his minions show up and kidnap both you and him and take you to their universe (or version of your universe, whatever it happens to be) your reaction?

Oh yeah I'm going to London! *starts dancing*

I remember suddenly being surrounded by men in black suits just before I blacked out. I woke up in a grey room. No windows, lamps, chairs or a door it seemed. Just a cot with a single sheet. I sat up and glared at the wall.
My blood was boiling and I wanted out. "Moriarty!" I half screamed half yelled, "Let me out of here!"
I knew he had to hear. I knew I was being watched. I looked around the room, trying to find something - anything - that would held me escape. Fear replaced anger as I realized I was trapped - with no way out.
5) Your fantastic heroes have arrived to rescue you-- but now you are faced with a choice. The villain, out of gratitude for your earlier help (assuming you actually did help him when he was wounded), has offered you a chance to travel back to your own universe. However, the heroes warn you not to trust him. The only other way for you to get back home is to travel with the heroes on a long and dangerous journey... and there's no guarantee that you'll survive...
What. Do. You. Do?

Yay! I'm being rescued! Uh oh.. A choice? Hmmm...

I was just sitting on the cot. Staring at the wall. Waiting to be let out. Hoping to be freed.
I hear an odd noise, and when I look up, Moriarty is standing there, frowning.
I notice the bandages around his head and chest.
"I'm surprised to see you're not panicked." He tilted his head. "I expected you to freak out."
"Don't worry. I'm freaking out inside."
"Oh, good. Well. Where are your hero's now? Looks like they've forgotten all about you."
"They have not forgotten me! They'll stop at nothing. You'll see."
He smiled wickedly. "Do you know how long you've been in here, in this room? Three days. We haven't spotted head nor tail of your friends."
Just then a shadow crossed his shoulder. I heard a click.
Sherlock stepped inside followed by John. "You spoke to soon, Jim." Sherlock smirked.
"Are you okay?" John asked me while holding his pistol up toward Moriarty.
"I'm fine. Glad you finally came." I stood up.
"I wasn't going to hurt you, you know." Moriarty stated. "I was going to ask if you wanted me to return you to your home and family."
I opened my mouth then shut it again. All I wanted was to go home. I looked at all of them. Sherlock seemed not to care. John mouthed the word 'No' and shook his head.
Moriarty just stared.
"N-no. I can't trust you."
He frowned. "But I promise you. You could have left me for dead but you didn't. I don't break my promises."
I shook my head no. "Come on guys, lets get out of here." I said to John and Sherlock.
As we ran out we heard Jim yell," You'll be sorry!"
"I highly doubt that!" I yelled back.

So yeah, I went with my hero's.
This award was totally awesome! I had so much fun! Thanks for awarding me this Anna!

bye!

long time no see...

Hey people! I'm sooooo sorry I haven't been on! I'll try to make it up by posting a ton.
August is a really busy month for us. It's always full of fun things that keep is on our toes;)

The first week was a week of preparation. We spent the whole time cleaning house and packing so we could go down the weekend with some really good friends. In fact, our whole bible study group went to their house! It was so much fun and I want to go again:)

On August 12 was my sister Sadie's 10th birthday! She had the cutest cake too! The lady friend who made it shaped it like a slice :D have you every had butter cream frosting? Well, if you want to live to a ripe old age I would recommend never eating it. That stuff is so perfect it's addicting. My hearts still Brocken that we don't have anymore of that frosting.

Also on the 12th, we dropped off fair projects. I was soooo excited but as soon as we left the fair grounds I got really nervous.

August 15th: because my mom and I had Bible Study later that day, we went early. We also brought our good friend Zelta:) she is such a neat lady! I'm sure y'all would love her to pieces!
Anywho; the first entries we went through  were the beading my sister and I had done and my brothers wood work.
Sadie and Rebekah entered bracelets and they each got a 1st place ribbon. Yay for them! Allison entered a beaded lizard, which also got a 1st place ribbon.
For my brothers wood work he had entered a walking stick and a pipe. He got blue ribbons too:) (by the way: blue = first place.) he was pretty happy:)
Then my beading. blue ribbons on my three necklaces! AND a best in show necklace! WOO HOOO!!!! talk about a thrill ;D

Next was my photography. SECOND. PLACE. YESSSS!!! it was the picture of my sister Allison :D and i got a 3rd place in the animal division and 3rd in the portrait division. I was (still am!) realllyyyyyyyyyyyy excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last of all; my sister Allison also entered three AMAZING Wolf sketches she had done, but she only got honorable mentions. I wasn't very happy about that. She seriously had the best sketches on the wall! bummer.... But we all gave her a virtual 1st place and that cheered her up a bit:)

That was all fun;)

THEN! FIREWOOD! That's all really boring though ;D

We've been to the library a few times... I haven't really read a book worth noting though :-/
Other than RANGERS APPRENTICE. I really really REALLY love this series!
The last time we went to the library I had put books 4, 5, 6 and 7 on hold and was standing in line to check out when this guy behind me says,"Hey! I love that series! I read them all! They were really good. Did you know that there's a new one being published?"
Haha it was funny.

Two weeks ago my mom left with all the ladies of our bible study to go to a Woman's Retreat in Seatle. She had a good time.

I'm glad she had fun. Because back at home I was the replacement and I'm just going to throw it out there, My mom is my hero. I don't know how she does it. The house cluttered up every 5 minuets, dishes piled sky high in the sink, the floor was hidden under toys and such... Okay. I'm kidding. It wasn't that bad.
But it was still hard :-/

Then she came home:) everything was back to normal! Woohoo!

Two days later she left to go to California with my aunt Susie and cousins MacKenzie and Katie. They went to go see my other aunt, Aunt Joni (aunt Susie's sister;D).
Fun times.

For the first three days I babysat my cousin Mitchel. That was sooo boring xD all we did was play Wii and I drew. Lol.
Then I came home and was greeted by grubby siblings and a messy house. They got cleaned up and I picked up the house xD oh the fun! The best thing was that I could watch movies while I cleaned. That made it tolerable.

Then last night my mom came home! YAY! Back to normal now!
It's nice having her back:)

Now I've got things to do. Finish my application for the library so I can be a Volunteer, and fill out a whole pile of papers to be a Fire Department Explorer with my brother:) that should be fun too.
Since my dad works for the fire department my bro and I could go on calls with my dad. AWESOME! Sooo excited :D

So, before I go I just wanted to thank those of you who have awarded me and I'm really sorry that I haven't been on to put them up. I'll try to get them up soon:)

Lots of love, apologies and virtual hugs for all of you! Thanks!

Unnamed story part 3:

Hey everyone! Just wanted to say sorry for not posting this sooner and sorry for hardly being on. This month is really busy for us so I might not get another post in... Sorry about that!
So without further ado; part 3

Jason:

"... And you can call us if you need anything." My mom finished her speech.

"Yes mum." Jason and I chorused.

"Will and Annie, you listen to Jay and Georgie okay? I don't want to hear a bad report." Aunt Joan said.

"Yes mummy."

"Good. Now we're going! I love you! Be good! Don't forget to call!" Mum and auntie Joan where practically dragged to the running station wagon by dad and uncle Fritz.

We waved as they drove away.

I turned to my sister and cousins.

"So we should go finish with our dinner then we can play hide-and-seek. Does that sound good?"

An hour later we had eaten and washed the dishes and got ready to play hide-and-seek.

It was the my third turn. I found George pretty quick, and together we searched for the twins.

We looked every inch of the first floor. No sign of them anywhere. We moved to the second floor, again, no sign.

I looked at my sister and she looked at me. Her face was pale and she was shaking.

"Where are they?" She asked, her voice shaking and her eyes flashed fear.

I shook my head. "I don't know. Where could they be?"

"Let's go look outside then call mummy and auntie Joan. I really hope they're outside!"

We both ran to the door and rushed out into the yard. We spent a good while calling their names and telling them they won and could come out now.

There were no responses.

We walked back into the house. Georgie was almost hysterical.

"Where did they go?! They've never done anything like this before. What are we going to tell our parents and auntie and uncle Fritz? Why would they run away?!"

I patted her shoulder.

"George, calm down. It'll be okay. Before we call, is there anyplace that we didn't check?"

She squared her shoulders and thought hard. I watched her and tried to think of somewhere but I couldn't think of anything.

By the time we walked into the kitchen George suddenly jumped and she turned to run.

"The attic!!!" She yelled and bolted.

I chased after her and we plowed through the open door of Georgie's workshop.

There they stood, little Will and Annie.

Georgie's invention was sparking and beeping, lights flashed and the room vibrated.

Will had taken Annie's hand and they were about to step through the doorway when George and I grabbed their shirts and tumbled into the gaping door.

Instead of falling on the floor like I had expected, we were surrounded in black, everything in the room had vanished.

Georgie:

We hung there, suspended, in blackness. It felt like forever, but it could have been a minuet.

I didn't know what to think. It felt like I was in a daze that ended as soon as I noticed we were in sunlight.

I blinked, trying to figure out what happened and letting my eyes adjust to the sudden brightness.

I saw Jason, Annie and Will beside me. We all sat on the ground and we appeared to be sitting in the entrance of a wide cave.

Still confused, I opened my mouth to talk but nothing came out.

I looked at them and noticed they were staring out the opening, mouths open and pointing.

I looked out and I felt like my eyes were the size of plates.

We were looking out at a wide green grassy field where dinosaurs were grazing with cows, goats, sheep and oxen.

On the far left, there was a lion playing with a tiny baby lamb and on the far right,  where the trees began, a T-Rex stood gnawing on a massive oak tree.

That's when it hit me.

I leaped to my feet and pulled on Jason's arm.

"Jason!" I laughed. "It worked! My invention worked! It's a time machine! We're really in the past!"

Jason looked at me and stood slowly.

"Really? How is this even possible?!" He looked angry as he said it.

I felt my excitement slowly die and I looked at the ground.

"Georgie! You are amazing! I knew you could do it!" He wrapped me in a hug and laughed.

Will and Annie hadn't moved from where they sat. They looked terrified.

"Jason, look. They're scared." I pointed to them and said their names.

Jason bent and hugged them.

"Where are we?" Will asked fearfully.

"I want to go home Geo." Annie sobbed.

"We're in the past guys! This is the time when animals and dinosaurs lived together." Jason said excitedly.

"Guys, this is an adventure! Lets go explore!" I said, taking Wills hand and standing him up. Jason did the same to Annie.

Taking a deep breath, I stepped out of the cave.
